DETAILS:
Our client desired a studio show apartment within in their prestigious 326 unit residential development to be fitted out as a fully functional space for visiting company executives requiring overnight accommodation.

This unit would also act as a show apartment and, as such, should demonstrate the versatility of the unit and highlight the fixtures and fittings specified by the developer.

From our initial site survey, our design team proposed that to achieve maximum functionality in the space, we would design, build and install a bespoke wall-mounted unit comprising shelving, wardrobe space and integrated fold down double bed. Our client agreed and gave us the go-ahead for the full scheme.

Working closely with our craftsmen, we took the storage and slumber unit from inception to physical installation within two weeks. The resulting prototype has proved such a success that this unit is now available for purchase and installation in various finishes and bespoke sizes.

To complement the high quality kitchen installed as standard in the development, we provided a console desk with bench seating to double as a dinette and workstation for working dinners, behind the sofa and in front of the wall mounted flat screen TV.

Completing the scheme, we added blackout blinds to aid with restful sleep, decorated throughout in a contemporary take on the traditional gentlemen’s club and injected a little wit behind the bed in the shape of three large black letters on a gloss yellow background, exclaiming the word “boo”.

The client was delighted with the result. So too was the public. The unit sold for above the asking price within a week of it being first shown.
